Photocopy day

Today, I spent almost my whole day sitting in-front of the photocopy machine, looking at papers flying out onto the tray until I almost got sore eyes. I was at Pasir Lebar Camp doing “some” printings of forms for the upcoming overseas Exercise. Over 10,000 pieces of copies were printed within 4 hours, can you imagine that? Actually I find that it is kind of a waste of paper. At 3.30pm, I then had my lunch. I was staving at that time as I had not even had my breakfast.

I was quite sad this afternoon not because I am doing clerk work, photocopying 10 thousands copies of forms but it was that I do not have the chance to go to New Zealand for the upcoming Exercise. They drew lots, and I was the “lucky” one who is not picked. Why must it be me? Meaning I will be doing duties with 2 others who are not going, Alvin On and Jeremy Ng, in camp while the whole battalion is out.

I hate to catch a very bad flu, especially watery ones. It gets uncontrollable which also cause me to feel weak and hungry all the time. My brain is telling me that I am hungry again even though I had my dinner just a few minutes ago. I think I will go get some preserved strawberries snacks to eat…

Back… Where was I? Oh yes, they are very tasty. I bought it from the shops above the hawker centre in bugis. You know, the shops which sell preserved foods and tidbits and it is always packed with people days before Chinese New Year. Buying preserved items from there is the cheapest you can find. Like sour prunes, I will always get from there with the best value. If you are going after lunch, be sure not to go there with a full stomach, because you can get to test what ever you want before you buy!

Yummy, the strawberries are nice. Going off to look what other things to eat.
