I am getting sick of army life. There are so many unfinished things to do each day when work comes to me. Today, I was in-front of the computer typing out one of the documents because the soft copy is gone after the migration of the offices computer from Windows 95 to Windows XP. It was a torturous job. I had one more set of document to make which I did not manage to complete today. I only completed 4 lines of it just now before I left my office.
Also, just now at 1930, there is a FO briefing by my unit’s chief FO. It is kind of stupid to put it at that time when everyone wanted to go home. I did not attend the briefing and went home partly because I wanted to go back home to make sure everything is all right at home as my parents are both on overseas trip. Sometimes, I really do not know what army wants to do. It is always so irritating to me.
I got a reply email from URA, Urban Redevelopment Authority, about my enquiry on the next online scholarship application. It is from 1 February 2006. I have being thinking of applying from a few sectors such as URA, HDB and DSTA. HDB’s working environment is quite ok I suppose but their creativity seems limited. DSTA works closely with SAF and it is a government sector too. I would like to try DSTA but what bothers me is it is still a place which works closely with SAF. Another one is NParks, National Parks Board. I wonder if they have any scholarships to offer. Maybe I will write a email to enquire.
Can I not go back to camp? Oh well…
