Getting a new laptop II
Today, I was walking around Best Denki in Ngee Ann City and came across a lot of notebooks. I was drooling over the HP Pavilion dv9000 series, the one on display I think is the dv9014TX. I wonder if it is a good buy at about S$3.2K.
Actually, I had almost made up my mind on Dell’s Inspiron 9400 and now I am looking at HP’s. What am I going to do?!

i might see how it goes first. my desktop just died yesterday :( so it is a sign that i should be getting a laptop anytime already. 3.2k, not bad the HP's laptop. but, it is quite a difficult decision and i am afraid that it might let me down.
Yes, it appears a good buy. If you use OCBC Credit Card at Best Denki, there is now a cash rebate. The key is that the graphic card must be NVidia 7600 and above (to operate well with future Vista interface), your screen could either be 1,680x1,050 (or cheaper 900). Do look up for dv9100 with Core 2 Duo for comparison.
