I got a dilemma. To get a Dell Laptop or a Asus’s. There are pro and cons for each laptop. I am choosing over Dell Inspiron 9400 and Asus F3. They are of different size of course. One is 17inch monitor and 15.4inch respectively. The weight is of course heavier on Dell. But Dell offers quire a good graphic card. Price is about the same, with about maybe $100 difference, Dell at a higher price after a 3 years warranty upgrade whereas Asus is only 2 years.
The freebees Asus is giving during IT fairs are of course more attractive than Dell’s as Dell does rarely give free bags or mouse etc during the purchase. What should I choose?

i think dell should have better Asia Pacific warranty support compared to Asus. with 17" screen, the notebook wont be light. Don't forget, you'll need to carry it everyday to class. Maybe can opt for a Dell 15" model, and bump up the RAM instead.
hmm... ya lo... the weight is abit of my concern.. but dell15" does not have a good graphic card.. haha.. will see how it goes during sitex or christmas season
hmm.. the 15" model has 128MB ATI Radeon, should be good enough right ? as long as not the Intel GMA 950.
hmm... i will be doing 3D rendering and photoshop and autocad... not sure if 128MB is enough for that kind of work load though.. hmm
you can customise the specs, pay about $100 more to upgrade to 256MB X1400. And can upgrade to 2GHz CPU too, higher res LCD display etc
