What molds the way I believe in life

Some people might think I am weird, some people might think I think too far, and some people might think I am too practical. Nevertheless, it is the way I believe, the way I was brought up that molds the way I work in my life.

I enjoyed listening to colleagues talking about their babies, their kids, and sometimes I joined in for their discussion. It is a topic that most of us will eventually experience.

I enjoyed spending my time with my family, even though most of the time I am just sitting in front of my computer, their presence warmed me. Waking up every morning and knowing that they good and healthy is my greatest wish.

I enjoyed talking about future goals, and enjoyed very much too to share my goals with my partner. I always believe that even though our goals are different, we can still strive together to achieve it, no matter if it is achievable or not, we tried and we can try again.

I enjoyed sharing with my partner about what I are my future family plans when I know she is open to such discussion, being almost on the same frequency as mine. I believe that is what makes us click is the openness to such topic.

I enjoyed sharing with my partner about my thoughts about family values because I know she has almost the same thoughts as mine. I believe that is important when we are planning to move on to the next stage in the future.

I enjoyed the "boringness" of myself because it is me, myself and I. I do not enjoy clubbing, I do not enjoy rock musics, I do not like to attend night activities at Clark Quay or any where those young people are going. They don't bring any trill to me.

I enjoyed the "practicalness" of myself because I like the value logical thinking. I am so practical that most of the things I do or decision I made people might describe it is so "old-fashion". But to me, I think it is down to earth.

I enjoyed my time at supermarket, looking at a single item for minutes, comparing items for many more minutes. People might get irritated by me because it made them think that I am indecisive. I enjoyed being in the supermarket shopping for grocery for as long as I want. I was surprised when I found out that she shared the same enjoyment as I do. I would imagine us going to a supermarket buying grocery after work and ended up having supper, but I do not mind at all.

I enjoyed eating. 能吃是福。It is a blessing. I like my partner who is able to share the same enjoyment as myself. Though we might end up growing horizontally, but I am sure she will be more health conscious so I am not too worried.

The way I was brought up by my family, moulded the way I walk my path of life. They thought me valuable lessons about life. I respect my grandparents, my parents, and my uncles and aunts and many other of my elders. I grew up in an environment that emphasise on family values. Nothing comes first other than my family.

My grandfather thought me how to write calligraphy using a chinese brush. He thought me to use a eastern abacus. My grandfather dote me alot because I am his first grandson. My grandfather is a very good cook, and a very family orientated man. He loves his wife, and was willing to sacrifice himself for her. My grandmother dotes me as much as my grandfather did.

My grandfather and father were good cooks. I miss their orh lua, fried oysters omelet. My father respects his elders. He brought my maternal grandmother along during any overseas trip. My father was always there for anyone who needed his help. He was equally well respected by everyone in my family and relatives.

Their philosophy thought me to what I am.
