Sony Alpha Nex-3 and Nex-5

Sony came out with its prototype launch few months back and the design was slammed.

The design was some what looks cheap, but of course, they had already said that is is a prototype.

Then, just a few weeks ago, Sony announced the preproduction models of the nex-3 and nex-5 (below with thicker grip but smaller body).


Reviews by friends and members from forums said that it is as good as the α550 and possibly even better. Being a user of α900, the nex-5 is a camera that I will want as a compact yet able to produce DSLR resolutions images. No it is not micro 4/3. This small beast packs a APS-C size sensor.
