After I hand over the DOO duty to the next DO, I went back to bunk and freshen up myself. Later, I had a quick breakfast with Lingwei, Alex Gwee and Joseph and head off to Gun Hill to supervise on the safety of my specialists and men’s gun drill rehearsal for tomorrow’s foreign VIP visit. Normally at that time, I will be in bunk sleeping until lunch time before I head back to office. Doing DOO will not have enough sleep.
After lunch, it makes me even sleepy. I fell asleep in S3 office for about an hour until the time arrives for me to get ready for my men’s SOC test. Tiring day. One of the men had a physical exhaustion and was sent to the Medical Centre by the standby ambulance.
Tomorrow I will be taking over DOO again. It will be my 4th time doing DOO in this month. But never mind, weekend is coming and New Year is around the comer!
