July is Coming!

It seems to be a very fast month, or maybe it is a slow month. At last, July is around the corner. I have been waiting for this day for ages! Another 3 plus months and I will be out of army! The moment I have been waiting for. ORD!

I was told by my 2nd boss that I might be going to Thailand to support an exercise. But it is yet to confirm. Which means, I might be going in mid July and come back in Aug, and just the right time for me to start clearing my Off and Leave.

I am not sure if I should go or not. Should I? hmm…

Forgetful me 2

How come I always forget to do certain things? I forgot the most important thing and only realized that this evening. Gosh… I think I am getting a brain dead soon.

The prediction for today is so true. We have to work till we finish our job this week. Time is tight and we can spare no time for enjoyment. I just hate this kind of life. I am doing something which does not interest me and worst, much more stress than I experienced in poly days.

I just wish July comes fast! 10 more days!

Spoiled my day

Yesterday night, I had the most wonderful day in my life. I was so excited that I stayed awake until about 1.30am before I could fall asleep. I had done what I did not do the other day.

It is raining heavily now. Luckily I got back to bunk before it start pouring cats and dogs. My biggest boss, I nicked name him “Lao Lao” had gone mad. He wanted all of us to submit our work and wanted to see them on his table by 7.30am. Today, I think we are getting an emperor’s order letter, “sen zi”, from him saying we are not allowed to go out from today onwards. I think he has gone too far. He was saying to another commander that we do not like him. Of course we don’t like him. How does he want us to like him when he keep giving us such treatment for the past 2 weeks. He’s a bloody hell.

Time to go for breakfast to prepare a full stomach to meet the “Lao Lao”.

Forgetful me

I think I am having a bad memory or my brain isn’t working properly. I cannot even differentiate between left and right. I was driving when Anthony and Laney told me to turn right but I moved to the left, twice. Maybe I am thinking of something else which caused my brain to slow down it’s process.

Today, Anthony, Ashley and me went to Laney’s house to help her pack her luggage. Her living room was in a mess. All her stuffs were all over the place. She even wanted us to take photos of her architecture books so that she does not need to bring them over to Australia. But the quality will be quite blurring la… She brought a lot of things! We thought she will get prepared to pay some extra bucks for the overweight luggage. Aiyoh… I think she is bringing her whole wardrobe there.

Dinner, Anthony’s mother treated Laney and me. It was as a farewell treat for Laney by Ant’s mother. We had cold crab and some other dishes. Normally, I did not eat crabs especially cooked crabs without gravy. I will always not touch crabs as far as possible except for deep fried crab nuggets. But this crab Ant’s mother ordered was delicious. Or is it I did not know how tasty crabs are. This is my first time, eating crab’s eggs. It tasted great! I cannot believe crabs are that nice. Or is it always? I think is the smell which made me stay away from crabs in the past. This cold crab does not smell at all.

Feeling Lost

I am having a very lost feeling. It seems like something which I have to do but I did not do. Or maybe it is something else. How should I phrase it…? Someone’s feeling could be copied and loaded into me and I share the same mood as the someone.

I wanted to ask and do something last (Sat) night, but I do not know why I did not. What is happening to me? Help!

Happening week

It had being a week of tight and busy schedule for me. At last, I left camp happily yesterday evening 5pm leaving most of my work completed after 5 days not going home. I was involved in a Change of Command, COC, at Dieppe Barrack which is just opposite my camp. My appearance during the parade is just about less than 5 minutes, State Flag barrier for the oath taking of the new commander. Everything went very smoothly for me even though I had a “jelly” feeling on my whole body before the parade.

Work seems to be piling up, but slowly, it is tumbling down. Yesterday, I only spent about 4 hours in office. In the morning, one of the commanders held a sharing session in the morning. It lasted till 12.30pm. I almost fell asleep especially the morning 10km run! I was so hungry at that time too.

Yesterday evening after work, something happened… someone should know yourself hoh… haha!

Running Amok

Haiz… why popular Bookstore like that de… Always never have black mounting board. Their cashier is always so sloooowww! I hate to wait at the counter, waiting for the cashier to key in the numbers, open their file to do something, writing on voucher, etc. Very slow! I cannot believe I am standing there for minutes just to wait for them to settle an incorrect entry. Worst, the bookstore which always have black mounting board, Evergreen, is no more in Causeway Point.

Last time Chua Chu Kang got this big Popular beside Lot 1 Shopping Centre but it is gone now. From big become small in Lot 1. Still, I cannot find black mounting board. What is happening in Singapore’s Popular Bookstore? Woodlands don’t have, CCK don’t have. Waste my $2 parking fees! What the hell…

Off I head to Bras Basah. Art friend closes early and it is only 8.30pm. Lucky Popular Bookstore was still open. And it is renovated to fight against Art Friend so I am very sure they will have black mounting board. To my luck, they have loads. Then, I wanted to look for a book but don’t have! Arghh!! Why is it always one doesn’t want something it always appear and one wants it and it doesn’t appear! Arghh!!

I learnt my lesson already. Next time the first place will be Bras Basah. For common stuffs will be Popular.

Tomorrow kana confinement again. What the hell sia… My big boss is really a bastard. Arghh!! I cannot believe that he can do such things to us. I cannot even have some time of free time to do my personal stuffs. I am only a NSF! I don’t care. I am going out latest by Wednesday so that I can finish up my photo portfolio.

Back at home from confinement

At last, after 4 days of intensive work from 8.30am to 10pm everyday since Monday without much rest, I can come home at last to smell the aroma of my room.

I feel so tired and at the same time relieved from work. It had being a long long long week which seems to have lasted for weeks. Why is it still Thursday? I thought July is anywhere around the corner? Gosh, there are still 3 more weeks to go. I cannot wait till I start to clear leaves. I am only a NSF!

1st August is my promotion. I think I will be looking forward to that only before I ORD. Nothing else except a National Day holiday in August. What a boring June and July.

Give me a break! My poly life isn’t as bad as now you know…

GSS

The Great Singapore Sale, GSS, had started quite some time ago and I had just started my shopping. Today, I spent about $300 on a few products. Got a Sennheiser HD215 headphone, a Parker fountain pen and 2 shirts from Giordano.

Quite sad that my Kingston memory stick is faulty again. I have to go to its service centre at Albert Complex which is near Sim Lim Square to get a replacement. Sometimes, I really hate Kingston. I think I will get Sandisk instead next time.

Yesterday, I went to PC Show. I wanted to get quite a few things from there such as an external HDD, USB optical mouse and a headphone. But in the end, I only bought a black Microsoft mini mouse. I look for my desired Notebook I want to buy at the end of the year’s SITEX 06.

I think my pocket had burnt quite a hole after buying my headphone and pen. I still haven shop for more apparel yet!
